Principal Weekly Update

December 3, 2017

Hello Lee Families,

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

This week is sure to be a fabulous one, full of challenging and thoughtful activities that help our brains and hearts grow!

Take care,

Cherie

Lockdown Drill

Tuesday afternoon we will have a practice Lockdown drill. This is a drill to practice what we would do in the case of a dangerous person entering our school. Sadly, it is important that we practice this type of drill, but be assured we perform this drill seriously and without scaring the students. Teachers will address their students questions that may come up before and after the drill. In addition, it is also very valuable for your children to have a conversation with you.

From the Lee Yearbook Staff:

The 6th and 5th grade yearbook staff would like to invite all families to purchase a yearbook! Order forms will come home this week and the cost is $8.00. You can return the order form to the school or order on-line. To order on-line, go to: ybpay.lifetouch.com and put in the Lee School Code: 12725718

Parents, if you have taken pictures at a school activity, you can download them here for consideration of being put into the yearbook: community.lifetouch.com Code: YJWXQV

From PTO:

Hello Everyone! Are you finding yourself in need of ideas for your child’s teacher for Christmas? Let us help. Our Amazing teachers have put together a list of items of items they would love to have in their classroom. If your teacher’s items are taken, think about some of our other important positions, the library, gym, music, workrooms, etc. Please drop off your gifts to the office by Dec. 11th. If you could wrap them that would be great! Gift tags are available in the front office for you to write who the gift is to and from. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the PTO!

Thank you! http://signup.com/go/xusgJXY
